Sync employee benefits and reward programs between Rippling and Zentry

Rippling is the workforce management platform that combines HR, IT, and finance into a single system of record. Connecting Rippling to Zentry unifies employee identity and benefit entitlements with spend management, so that rewards, stipends, and reimbursement policies are always in sync with HR data.
Employee benefit allowances defined in Rippling (wellness stipends, home office budgets, learning allowances) are automatically provisioned in Zentry as designated spend categories with appropriate limits for each employee.
When employees join, change roles, or leave, Rippling pushes those events to Zentry in real time, ensuring benefit entitlements are immediately updated without manual HR-to-finance coordination.
A Rippling account with HR and Payroll modules. API access must be enabled by your Rippling administrator. Zentry connects via Rippling's REST API using an API key scoped to employee and benefit data.
Benefit types and allowance amounts must be configured in Rippling before connecting Zentry, as the integration maps Rippling benefit plan names to Zentry expense categories.
Ask your Rippling admin to generate an API key with employee and compensation read access. Enter this key in Zentry Settings → Integrations → Rippling and run a test sync.
Review the imported employee list and confirm that benefit allowances map correctly to Zentry categories. Enable live sync and verify a new hire or role change propagates within the expected time.
