Approved timesheet data from Deputy flows into Zentry as labor cost entries, broken down by employee, department, and shift type. This eliminates manual data entry for payroll cost allocation and speeds up the monthly close process.

Shift cost projections from Deputy's scheduling module are imported as budget forecasts in Zentry, allowing managers to compare planned versus actual labor costs in real time.

Requirements

A Deputy Business or Enterprise account with API access. Your Deputy account admin must generate an API token with timesheet and employee read access from Deputy Settings → API.

Ensure employee records in Deputy have department and cost center attributes populated, as these are used by Zentry to attribute labor costs to the correct budget owners.

Getting Started

Enter your Deputy API token and subdomain in Zentry Settings → Integrations → Deputy. Run a test connection and pull a sample timesheet to verify data format.

Map Deputy areas/departments to Zentry cost centers and configure the labor cost calculation (hourly rate source, overtime multipliers). Enable automated daily sync to keep labor cost data current.
