Sync employee data and onboarding tasks between BambooHR and Zentry

BambooHR is the leading HR software for small and mid-size businesses, handling employee records, onboarding, time off, and performance. Connecting it to Zentry keeps employee and department data in sync so that expense management always reflects your current workforce.
New hires created in BambooHR are automatically provisioned in Zentry with role-appropriate spend limits on their start date. Employee terminations disable their Zentry access immediately, protecting against unauthorized spending.
Department changes and manager updates in BambooHR flow to Zentry automatically, keeping approval chains accurate without any manual IT intervention.
A BambooHR account with API access. Generate an API key from BambooHR under My Account → API Keys and provide it to Zentry during the integration setup.
Confirm that department names in BambooHR match the cost center names in Zentry, or configure a mapping table during setup to handle discrepancies.
In Zentry Settings → Integrations → BambooHR, enter your BambooHR subdomain and API key. Click Test Connection to verify access, then run an initial employee sync.
Review the imported employees, confirm their spend limits and approver assignments are correct, then enable real-time sync so future BambooHR changes propagate automatically.
