What Is Bulk Payments?
Bulk Payments is a new Zentry feature that lets you upload a CSV of recipients and payment amounts and dispatch all payments in a single action. No more logging into your bank, creating individual transfers, and reconciling them manually. One file, one click, done.
The feature supports up to 500 recipients per batch, handles 135 currencies, and generates a complete audit trail for every payment in the batch — including timestamps, recipient confirmation, and automatic ledger categorization.
How to Get Started
Navigate to Payments → Bulk in your Zentry dashboard. Download the CSV template, which includes all required fields and validation rules. Fill in recipient names, bank details, amounts, currencies, and an optional reference note for each payment.
Upload your completed CSV and Zentry will validate all entries before execution — flagging any rows with missing data or formatting issues so you can correct them before a single payment is sent. Confirmed batches process within two hours for domestic payments and within one business day for international.
Use Cases: Payroll, Vendors, Reimbursements
Contractor payroll is the highest-volume use case in our beta cohort. Companies paying 50-200 independent contractors monthly are saving an average of 4 hours per payment cycle compared to their previous manual process.
Vendor payments and employee expense reimbursements follow close behind. Finance teams that previously batched these payments manually over multiple days are now processing everything in a single Tuesday morning session, freeing their afternoons for higher-value work.

Scheduled bulk payments are coming in Q1 2025 — set a batch to execute automatically on a specific date and time, with optional approval gates for batches above a configurable threshold.
